Thermal sand recycling

Two main parts make up GVF Impianti's sand recycling plant: the calciner and the cooler. The plant is sold turnkey with a shakeout machine, a vibrating mill, pneumatic conveyor, storage silo, aspiration and filtration systems, post-combustion.

GVF Impianti's multi-level sand cooler assumes a vital importance in plant's management and maintenance.

As a matter of fact, the absence of water in the cooling circuits permits to solve all the problems related to limestone, a source of inefficiency and expensive maintenance. It solves also problems related to vaporization towers and service water unloading rules.

The plant can also be equipped with a heat regeneration system to further bring operating costs down and, in case it becomes necessary, a sand cooling system by pump to make exit temperature lower than ambient temperature.

Few and easy operations executed from the touch screen panel on the control board allow the operator to launch the sand recycling plant.

The superior quality of the fluid bed, result of a 30 years experience, optimises consumptions permitting best distribution of air-gas mixture.

The continuous control of temperature, pressure and flow rate makes the plant totally automatic, that adapts to all kinds of sand keeping constant the final product's quality.
